This New Ammunition Law is About to Hit California in July

0

Just under a month from today, gun owners in California will have more hurdles to clime through when buying ammunition.

California is already known as one of the harshest states in country with respect to gun control laws. In the wake of several high-profile mass shootings, the State Assembly has moved forward with passing more legislation — the latest of which affects the ease of purchasing ammunition. Supporters say the law tackles the problem at the source, but Second Amendment advocates are concerned that additional laws do little more than disarm law-abiding citizens.

Beginning in July, gun owners will have fewer options for buying ammunition. Large retailers like Walmart are particularly affected. Even as the law is close to being in effect, political discourse has made it unclear as to exactly what the impact will be.

Thankfully, the Daily Shooter on YouTube was happy to do the work for us. The nine-minute clip below is packed full of the details you need. And for those fortunate to live outside of California, the video is also a stern warning of what could soon come if politicians are allowed to operate without any pushback.
