Democrat Chuck Schumer Wants to Ban Body Armor

0

Let’s start off by saying this: calling for a ban on a weapon used in a mass shooting is ideologically misguided, and it doesn’t solve anything. Criminals who are dedicated to taking a large number of lives already don’t care about the laws on the books, and they will typically find a way to carry out their plan no matter what the method is.

That said, we sort of follow the logic — at least for the uneducated. We can see how one would come to the conclusion that removing the weapon from the streets will reduce the likelihood of a similar incident from happening some time in the future. Again, that isn’t how it works, but we can see how and why many people believe this.

We do not understand the logic behind banning body armor — at all. Apparently, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is so against guns, he wants to…make people more vulnerable to them? Yeah — even typing it out doesn’t make it any easier to understand.

Apparently, the leading Democrat in the Senate wants to include body armor in the list of things that are just “too easy” for civilians to obtain. Now, body armor doesn’t actually hurt anyone or anything — it’s designed for quite the opposite.

We’ll leave it to the Daily Shooter to explain the details — maybe he can make some sense of this.
